Promoting Kindles on Warrior?

Hi Warriors,

Thanks to one of my clients who is doing well with his ebooks, I have recently made an entry into the Kindle publishing world and am now in the promotion learning phase!

I wanted to ask if there are any particular ways you guys and gals are promoting Kindles on Warrior? For instance, I imagine the banner is an option, and perhaps I could create a WSO with a link to Amazon, but are there other methods?

I currently have the first book enrolled with KDP Select which offers exclusivity to Amazon, so I can't sell the actual ebook in another format or elsewhere for 90 days, but obviously can promote it to be sold via Amazon.

Any additional thoughts on how you guys promote Kindle would be a great help to me and countless others as well.

    Create a sales page for your book and put the sales page in your signature. Use the Classifieds section to run an ad for it. I kind of doubt that using the WSO section would be too successful. Doesn't seem the type of product that would fly off the shelves in the WSO section.

    Thanks for that. I suppose it depends on the topic regarding the WSO section, but I wouldn't be able to discount it further than what Amazon has it at the moment so I shouldn't anyway.

    You want to promote a Kindle ebook here in the WF?

    I think that just turning it into a WSO would yield higher returns. At least you don't have to pay Amazon 30%.

    I think it's me just being impatient. The first ebook that I have created will be relevant to a lot of Warriors, but Amazon is a good starting point. I guess i'll wait until the exclusive period is over and turn it into a WSO and also put it up elsewhere.
