Give Us Your Best Launch Jacking Tips
Hi Warriors!
I got several emails today congratulating me for a launch jack I did that has me in the top 7-9 spots on page 1 of Google. I wonder how many of you prep for launches and try to "jack" the top spots?
If so, care to share some tips?
Mine are as follows:
1. Blog daily if not more. This has Google coming to my site every 5 minutes or less. As soon as I post, it's indexed - usually at the top.
2. Use the product name and the word "review" and "part 1,2,3, etc in it. Normally I don't worry about SEO and all that - but for findability reasons, I like to name mine the exact same name with only the part 1,2,3, etc being different.
3. Get participation on your blog. It doesn't hurt when you build a relationship with your audience so that they share their insight on your blog. The comments of their opinions work to your advantage. Create a dialogue with them - don't just let them post and you not reply.
4. Create a variety of formats for your hungry audience to share. I use the blog text, PDF files gifted to them on the blog, and video.
Sometimes, I'll blog over the course of many days. Sometimes - if I have advanced notice - I will create a whole series of blog posts and set it to go live on launch day right at launch time, one minute after another.
