Lists-what should I do next

2 websites I set up about 4 weeks ago are generating 4 new subscribers per day. Both sites share the same Aweber list.

By autoresponder I send out 4 articles as a mini course. At the bottom of each article I place a cloaked affiliate link and mention that this article is from the author of the product I am promoting.

The sites are focused on a specific medical condition for women and the CB ebook is a natural cure.

I now have over 200 subscribers.

This is where I need help. What should I send my subscribers now? Do you guys send your list other products that are not from the original niche?

Whatever you've told them you'll send them.

To put it another way, I think you need to "revisit" the whole process, and plan some expectation-setting and continuity-maintenance.

I wouldn't in principle be promoting other products in different niches, but it might be possible, depending on their interests, what attracted them to your site in the first place, and so on. Is it the "natural cure" element that attracted them, or the condition from which they're suffering? (If it's the former, there may be other "natural cure"/"natural health" products in which they might be interested? But be pretty careful, as many such products are of dreadful quality and they can even be dangerous).

Have you made any sales yet?

Are you using whatever you send them right after they sign up (the first email?) as a method of ensuring a high open-rate for the rest of your series?

Send things that would add value to their lives.

You can add value by providing value information, and also by promoting valuable products.

Whether it's tutorials you make, blogs you write, or even blogs you find that they would appreciate.

Of course, your sole intention should be to create value (to them). It's also important to make money, so try to promote products that will be worthy of their time. Try to promote things that will HELP them.

It is possible for you to promote similar or related products to them. I have a site that supports healthy skin that I promote various things like soaps, skin conditioners, softeners, tanning products, etc. on. In addition to that, I also offer up information and product offers for a healthy diet as well. Eating healthy promotes healthy skin. See the relation? But there is no way that I would EVER promote an internet marketing product like, "how to make $100/day by building an email list". That's just not proper marketing and you will lose your audience if you do.

Send your subscribers info that relates to what you want them to buy. Be patient... have you made any sales yet from your 200 subscribers? What are you sending them now?

Give them good solid FREE information, something that helps them or solves a problem the have. Don't just try to sell to them at every opportunity that you have, give a little something to them first, build their trust, make them think you are an authority figure THEN sell them something.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I make a sale on average 1 in every 12 subscribers so just need to scale it up now.
