Why is that giving sellers my email for updates gives them the right to sell me more stuff
How many times had this happen to you? You buy a shiny WSO plugin, theme or whatever and willfully give your email address to receive any news on updates or new releases, but the seller instead chooses to use this as a new channel to present you with new offers, new WSO's, new anything that is commission-based? Should you after buying a product (that many times guarantees free updates... for life) have the option to give your email address to be used only for updates and related news to the product you purchased? What do you guys think?
Disclaimer: I do enjoy some of the sellers to which I am still subscribed, but I have the rule to unsubscribe from any seller who sends me stuff just to make a buck without even trying the product, but many times I find the email address is attach to a product I want to keep getting updates (if these ever come).
