Hello, I'm new here.
I want to ask, my shop's fanpage usually gets more than 1000 views each posts, but suddenly, posts which posted this week are below 50 views. it seems that almost no one see the posts. and the stats is fall drastically.

Anyone seen this happen before?

Facebook changed their algorithms recently. They change them weekly from what I've heard, but they recently announced that they have made a change to Fan Page algorithms to deliberately show fewer organic posts to your followers. A lot fewer.

Facebook says this is to cut down on clutter and noise on people's timelines. I guess there's some truth to that, but I suspect it's a lot more about forcing more fan page owners to use promoted posts more often. I've seen a sharp decline myself.

I have almost 1000 fans but when I post an article or something on my wall only about 100 people see it. When I promote one though that number often increases to numbers approaching 1000 and in some cases more.

wow! I don't know about this! thanks for sharing

well, Facebook is getting harder to compromise now
those tips and tricks to manage views or how to sell on fanpage, will be less effective by now.

There was a thread here earlier this week that linked to a story about Facebook dumping thousands of phony accounts and 'likes'. If you were buying fans or views, that might account for some of it, too.

In general, the more "real" fans you have can increase the number of people who get to see your post. And that percentage of fans increase dramatically when you pay to promote a post.

Having little engagement on your page can also make your "visibility factor" go down, that's what happens with some of the pages with huge numbers of fans, but virtually no engagement, the percentage of visibility tanks.

I have this fanpage for about 4 years and it has segmented market. I never promote my fanpage via facebook. So I think my fanpage's fans are real. That's why I am confused why this last 2 weeks the reach and ngagement are decrease drastically. Do you have some tips to increase them without paying to facebook? Though i'll try to promote it soon or later
