I should mention the CTR was over 50%.

Cool, huh? But only one conversion. And the open rate is only 26%, I've been a little too slow writing to this list, sometimes 5 days in between!

Make sure to offer lots of value to you're subscribers and actually help them,

I make my living from clickbank products, and I can say without list building in this game, you will not only do poorly, but probably fail big time.

They say it time and time again, and you will hear it in here so many times, it becomes cobwebs on the warrior forum wall.

BUILD A LIST!

I have already posted, but I can remember back to 2007 when I did a test from sending traffic to the sales page, and then sending traffic to a squeeze page and gave them messages via a list.

The latter list building increased in sales by something like 1100%, so do you think I went straight back to sending traffic direct to the sales page.

Targeted traffic >> Squeeze page > Pre-sell >> Pre-sell >> sales page...

Doing that is a win win!

Hello Guys! I just started on Clickbank yesterday and tried to promote an affiliate product. I initially spent $20 on a PPC campaign to drive traffic to my hoplink and I immediately got 2 sales total of $91. So I thought Clickbank is really interesting!

However, I no longer got any sales after adding $40 more on my PPC campaign to repeat the process. I got 11 order impression count on my first $20, but ZERO order impression count on the next $40. Any idea why this happened and how can I improve my campaign?

If you are not building your list, you are wasting nearly all your IM efforts.

Develop a simple system consists of:

- Sales page (capture lead)
- Offer OTO
- Thankyou page (with download link to the product or offer)
- AUTORESPONDER (to send future offers)

It works.

This is great! Once a blogger told me that you don't have a list to make money online. Yes you can make money without a list but you are throwing away potential people that you can build relationship with and make money from them. Therefore the money is in the list.

Can you tell me how to go about getting started doing this. I've been researching this , but it seems like everywhere I look everyone's just trying to sell me something.

The one word of advice I got from a guy on another forum is 'don't buy anything' from sites that look too good to be true.

Most of the videos I've seen on youtube also turn out to be just a sales pitch in the end.

Any tips you can offer , or advice on how you made your first sale would be greatly appreciated. How many sales have you made in your 5 months in this?

Once you break the seal -once you get that 1st cash online -you shall feel the need to earn more. I don't know but that's exactly how I feel when I first got my first commission via paypal. Work on the following and you shall be on the right track:
1. Update your Blog
2. Optimize your Squeezes
3. Generate HI-QUALITY Traffic
4. Maintain Reputation w/ Subscribers
5. Track your Results! and do some more tweaks!

Congrats and keep it up. And don't get dissuaded if your second and third sales flop or take too long.

My 1st two sales on ClickBank were years ago with Google Adwords and it quickly dried up. The 5 sale minimum went in my and $180 of CB money was whittled down to $0.

I had given up on ClickBank but re-visted with a much better strategy.

I think your strategy is sound and much better than the original strategy I had. Definitely stick with it.
