I paid for a WSO 2-3 days ago. The WSO still is not live. I PM'd Allen approximately 36 hours ago asking if everything is okay, and he still has not returned the PM.

Does anybody know if our fearless leader is okay?

I totally understand if he simply needed to take a few days off. Its just unusual...the last 2 WSO offers I paid for went live within an hour of the payment being made.

Hopefully today the WSO will go live.

I think he might be on his weekend break.

First, problems with a WSO should be addressed to the Help Desk, not direct to Allen.

Second, are you a War Room member? I don't see the "War Room Member" confirmation under your name. WSOs are only open to those who have paid for War Room membership.

It's not uncommon for people to use that term to refer to ads in other sections of the forum. He's posted two ads that I can see listed under his thread history.

Regardless if it's Allen or Thomas who approves a thread, the payment notice will come from the admin account. That's automated, but it could make it appear that Allen is handling the process personally.

As far as the timing... Weekends are always slower. There's no guarantee that anything posted on Friday afternoon will be approved before Monday or Tuesday.

Once your payment is approved your thread should go live instantly.. Unless you paid by an eCheck which takes some time to process.

It's the approval process that usually takes 1-2 days

I'm 98%ish certain that Allen is not to person who personally
    approves WSO's.

If your WSO hasn't been approved after a few hours, then
there is probably something wrong with it... someone already
mentioned being a War Room Member.

The helpdesk does respond to support questions fairly quickly.

There is nothing wrong with the WSO. I received a PM from Allen which told me that my WSO was approved, and that all I needed to do was to pay for it.

Allen has been the person that I have dealt with in the past with my previous WSO.

Allen doesn't personally send those approval messages. They are sent out automatically when his employees approve your WSO. As stated, if you have any issues then use the Helpdesk rather than trying to contact Allen directly.

I'm not sure what the issue is though. If you received the message saying it's approved, you simply pay the fee and it goes live right away -- provided you didn't pay using echeque or something similar which take days to be cleared.

        Thanks everybody.

I was not even aware of the helpdesk....I just submitted a ticket, which I now can see is the correct procedure to follow in circumstances such as this.

I kinda had a feeling that the weekend was part of the reason for the delay. Its not a big deal.

I appreciate everybody's help, and this topic is "solved" as far as I am concerned.

Hope everybody has had a nice weekend,
