Promoting a web host as an affiliate

I'm now an affiliate for my web host (it's pretty small). I was wondering how I could promote it? I would rather not create a website for it...

I was thinking of posting on web hosting forums etc but having a look there are tonnes of offers on there people are posting.

Any ideas?

    That has been done millions of times before, try email blasts, that can work good for a beginner.

    You are working affiliate marketing in reverse, develop the traffic first and then select a program, it is much easier going that route.

    You could certainly use free methods like YouTube and Facebook, and you can easily outsource things like video creation if you don't feel like doing the work.

    I'd definitely recommend outlining some of the main products and their key features in a 2-2.5 minute video. Something in HD, that's eye catching with some upbeat music.

    There are plenty of alternatives to creating a website! Just look around the forums and you'll find some ideas

      I'd probably rather do it myself so I keep all the money, as I'd try get them to sign up to the smaller priced subscriptions first.

    Try creating a blog that covers web development and web hosting topics so you can generate traffic that relates to your chosen niche. It's very likely that you'd end up getting more sales from your blog. Also, doing solo ads can get the word out about your hosting offer as an affiliate.
