      Agreed but in detail the best way to get started is pick a niche that you're interested in and that is profitable then from there buy a domain name and hosting account. As well as a auto responder

      Next get started creating you an free report or ebook to get people to sign up to your list and when you have a product to sale you have a list of people already interested in what you have to sale.

    As it always has, it depends on your own skill set.

    For beginners starting off (as many do) without any relevant skills at all, then it depends on which skill set they can most easily acquire.

    I'd say that over the last 4/5 years, "SEO skills" have clearly become consistently less valuable, though, as so many SEO-based business models are proving both more difficult and less successful, overall, and SEO traffic tiurns out to be both increasingly precarious and less valuable.

    i still consider myself a newbie but was a total newbie not long ago. i started out with blogger as its free and requires no investment and also its super easy to use basically just point and click, easy to post updates and articles. i then started using adsense and thats pretty easy as well gives you html code just plug it into the site and your making money providing your getting traffic and clicks that is.

    im kinda upset i didn't start using wordpress as now im so hooked on blogger and dont own my own site and am hesitant to switch ie just too lazy to use a new program ie wordpress but it helped me get my start using blogger.

    I love how newbies come in, and decide to take some sort of action, and ask as if building a business is different these days.

    This strategy below is no shiney object, takes guts and determination but has stood the test of time and many millionaires have built their companies around smart concepts.

    1) Build squeeze page
    2) Get traffic to squeeze page
    3) Build sales funnel
    4) Get as much traffic as you can to 1)
    5) offer stuff to list.
    6) Test and tweak to get more profits.

    This same method has been working offline / online for years, and do not expect it to change anytime soon.

      All the big guys are still doing this, it's a safe bet.

      I also agree with earlier posts in terms of picking one niche to focus on to speed up your learning curve and bridge the gap.

    Go and create your pdf product and sell it as a WSO for $7. This will get you started building a buyer's list. More importantly, you will get the feeling of accomplishment, which will then drive you to greater heights. You see, getting started is always the hardest part. So you just need to do something as your first product, to get some momentum on your side. It gets easier and easier after that.

    I think i will recommend you to develop a skill. In 2013, you will see most of the garbages will be out from IM and it will be taken place by more valuable resources. so, learn a askill and then learn how to do business.

    "what you are going to offer"

    from where you will get traffic?

    what are key partners?

    what sort of relationship you want with your clients

    how will you do the product fulfillment?

    post sales environment

    this is how the business should run and this how you should think about business.

    I think the most important thing for newbies is to find a niche. Without a niche to stick it will be difficult for to make money. Research niches carefully before you start buying domains.
