Google Ads now with Optin Boxes?

I was just playing around on Google before when I came across this.

That's right, an optin box right within the Google ad.

I wonder what sort of conversions they would be seeing?

Does anybody know if this is open to all advertisers or only the 'big' spenders at the moment?

Interesting concept nonetheless...

I read about a lot of planned new tricks they're going to be rolling out, some are being tested now.

it's on my adwords account... and i believe it's open to any and all advertisers.

in the settings section, when you go to "ad extensions" and you'll find a whole new slew of additions that adwords will allow you to use.

so it's open to all, as i am definitely not a big spender on adwords anymore.

This is pretty cool, I'm curious to know the conversions as well. I wonder how folks fill about inserting in their info to side (and upper/lower) ads. And what keeps them from bypassing and simply clicking the ad to find out more? Is that small ad enough to justify capturing email? Super cool, but I'm more curious than anything LOL. Darn you OP!

I saw an optin box like that show up for aweber on google probably 3 or 4 months ago. There was a thread on it back then, but I don't have a link.
