What day of the week do you send your list something to keep you in sight and in mind?

because "out of site is out of mind", I'm sure many of you email your lists every week or so with valuable information to keep your name fresh in their minds by providing good solid information every so often.

What day of the week do you find to work best for you in terms of most opens and clicks?

Personally, I find that it's not really so much the day of the week, but the time of the day.

Specifically, around 5pm EST is when my traffic really spikes and my e-mail opens increase.

However, I don't send e-mails every day and haven't had a list for that long (epic mistake... i know), so I can't give my view on the best days to send.

    Hope i've helped :-)

    - James.

... although on monday that also means its a day that you don't have that much competetion if you do send an email in getting that message read.

I send out on Sundays, and I'm amazed by the open rate, which steadily continues throughout Monday and Tuesday when people are most likely opening their mail at work, or on the Net at work whether for professional or personal time.

I don't like sending after Monday particularly, but definitely not after Tuesday.

Saturdays have always worked almost as good as Sundays for me.

I wonder what other people's experiences are. Good subject for discussion.

We send out all our newsletters on a Wednesday. After test and measure we found this produces the most leads hands down.
