How Do Email Marketers Do It??

I am subscribed to a few newsletters (ie. Mike Geary's "Truth About Abs" and Eben Pagan's "Double Your Dating").

These guys have made millions yet I'm still getting emails from them and some re-cycled emails I got before and I'm getting again.

My question is how many of you re-cycle your articles you send to your subscribers and how do you set that up in your autoresponder (I use Aweber)?

It's possible that they've reset the autoresponder cycle. With Aweber, you would go to your subscriber list and change the number in the box next to their information.

Alternatively, I've seen marketers send broadcasts and if they perform well, they add it to their autoresponder sequence.

It's impossible to know exactly what's being done in this situation unless you ask.

if you like you can send a newsletter 100 times using your auto responder. just write your newsletter and set multiple dates for sending that particular newsletter.

most marketers send out newsletter repeatedly if it has convert well for them

There's always the option that they could simply go through and find the emails with the best open rates and then ad them in to a new email at the end of the sequence, hence the recycling of content.

There are also those "widget type" things within Aweber that slip in at the end of an email and can be changed (and updated across all emails they are located in), to reflect any updated items, for example a store opening hours, and if they are changed.

That number is totally false. Depends on the niche!

And on about 8 other things, too.

In any case, it doesn't matter whether or not the number's false, because the post had absolutely nothing to do with the thread at all and was simply a fatuous one made by someone who hadn't even read the OP. :p

Sounds like the continual hunt for fresh meat. There is obviously an expiration date for how long a person, in general, will stay subscribed to any one list. So, just recycle the high converting emails so as to expose any new subscribers to a higher converting one and pay no mind to those that stay subscribed for an extended period of time and have already made a purchase or have no intention of making a purchase.

    The continual wash, rinse, repeat.

One man alone can be pretty dumb sometimes, but for real bona fide stupidity, there ain't nothing can beat teamwork.

But the new members are going to get the original email .. not the rebirth. More of a "it didn't get you the first time but I will try it again."
