My first affiliate site - thoughts please.

I liked the whole design... had I come across your website a year back, i might have been tempted to crawl your site over and out, and... maybe.. even buy one of the books! >.<

I've thanked you for this post not because you've provided me any value, but you've PROVEN that there are still newcomers out there that will follow the proven methods behind site design/layout/eye appeal that actually work in favour of site visitors.

I love the layout!

It's clean and fresh, VERY easy on the eyes.
The optin form is above the fold and sticks out BUT it still merges nicely with the colours and layout of the page.
The content you have on there seems to be well written (slight overuse of target keyword, will come back to that though)
There are some ads on there, but they're all relevant and don't interfere with the main content of the site.

Overall a massive cograts, especially if this is your first site. Now get some traffic driven to the site and make some coin from happy people getting their ex back

Oh, on the main keyword side of things, take some of the instances of the keyword and shake it up a little.

Replace it with some related words or phrases that mean the same thing, but are written slightly differently.

Aim for between 1-3% (3% MAX) overall use of the main target keyword or Google will ignore you for a long time.

In other words:
Take the "How to get your ex back" keyword and mix it up, so...

getting your ex back
get your ex back
how to get back with your ex
getting back with your ex

You get the idea

Good luck, you have the makings of a darn good website there that should please your visitors, make you some money and eventually be loved by Google

I really like the site but for my i would change the footer to same as title area on the website as its a bit random the colours in footer and bit in your face but otherwise looks good. What theme is it?

I also think that you got yourself into a very good start. Your site is very clean and easy to navigate. I have nothing to say that can improve your overall look and feel of your site. Way to go. You did a great job.

Here are some suggestions:

I see your privacy policy includes a terms of use and a small blurb about earnings.
I would separate these pages and make an "earnings disclaimer page", a "terms of use" page as well as the "privacy" page just explaining what is done with the information you gather. You should also list a physical address ( a PO Box will do) in your footer as well as another form of contact (phone number).
I see your products are sold through clickbank, so you maybe alright for now, but if you sell any products through paypal or any other merchant account, these will be necessary to keep you out of trouble.
Great job on the site design though, if you did this yourself, you could certainly sell these as a business on it's own.

Your page title is "How To Get Your Ex Back HQ How To Get Your Ex Back - How To Get Your Ex Back HQ". Maybe it's a liiiiiiittle bit over-optimized?

Looks pretty good. Now you need to drive traffic to your site.

The only thing I'd do is capitalize each word in your header. I think that would look better.

This is a pretty tough and competitive niche so I hope you have a plan in place to get targeted leads. Nice start though.

Nice design. The only thing I might suggest is moving stuff on the right hand side to the bottom maybe. Maybe not AT the bottom, but I just get distracted by it, and it create conflict on the page. Otherwise good design!

i think this is really pretty site and you need to work on it to drive traffic on site , you can use seo to drive traffic on site

It's fairly clean and attractive. What's missing is a compelling reason to sign up. There is none. The copy is pretty generic, like thousands of others in that market. Put a grabber of a headline up there, something that will resonate with your market. Then you need to insert a strong call to action. Good luck.

Okay, just thought I will put in some feedback.

1. You are overdoing on the keywords. It's actually a case-by-case scenario and in this case, I suggest you use the keyword only once in the title. Add some other non keyword text to make it look better (stand out).

2. Design is good but the CTR will be low. Try adding some call to action links / button in the text content.
