I'm looking to write my first press release, but have heard there is a structure that should be followed if you want good results.

Can someone provide an example of how a press release should look?

There are plenty of posts there. They are press releases. Do you mean you don't see any post?

Press releases are definitely unique and you need to follow a set format in order to successfully get them approved by a press release submission site

It's not that hard to write a press release. Basically it has to have a timely news angle about a company, service or event, be written in third person and in a restrained way and targeting journalists. It should also have a few lines with contact information (name and email of contact) at the bottom of the press release. Our clients have no problems writing their own PRs using our guidelines.
