One thing I noticed on my first WSO is that some people are posting messages with links to competing products to the offer.

Im surprised that the thread owner doesnt have a way to delete posts like this, I mean I had to pay for it after all.

Is there nothing I can do about this? How do you guys handle it?

I am pretty sure that this violates Warrior Forum rules.

Double check to see if it does and if so, contact the OP and kindly ask him to remove the offending post.

If he does not comply, contact the moderators and let them know the situation.

That's frustrating to me, and it's not even my product. If you had to pay money to promote your own unique product people should not have the ability to advertise their products via their posts or even in their signature under your thread. I see that happen most times with YouTube promotion videos. I just feel they are taking YOUR audience that you worked hard to get. If they are allowed to do that you should get paid for advertising space(like in Adsense) lol.

Posting responses to WSO's promoting other WSO's is 100% against the rules.

Next to the post you'll see a little triangle with an (!) inside... click that and report it to the moderators.

Unfortunately, if WSO owners were allowed to just delete posts - what about the ones where the offer is rubbish, or the OP is a scammer? They could just delete the bad reviews and other warriors would fall into 'the trap'

Oh! lol I didnt even see that triangle Now I feel silly.

Yes I see 100% why they cant allow the forum owners to delete posts, that would invalidate the entire feedback system.

Thanks for your answers guys, however the mods were faster than all of us, those guys have all ready gone in on there own and deleted the offending posts! Those guys are awesome .. and fast!

Contact the moderators and let them know about the situation. If nothing is resolved then either don't pay money next time or create your own community where thread owners have more control.

I do have one other question perhaps you guys can help me with. I wanted to bump the WSO, I see a warning however in the sticky posts that says if you try to bump a post before it is on page 3 your account will be deleted.

Is there an easy way to check if your post is on page 3? Id hate to have to search through all the top 3 pages to see if my post is on there, not find it, pay for the bump, and then get banned because I honestly missed my post when I was searching the top 3 pages. How do you guys make sure you post is far enough back to bump?

Cilck on page 1,2,3, etc and use Edit/find to search for the first word or two of your subject line. You are making it harder than it is.

It's at the bottom of page 6.

Ha ha, thanks I have the typical programmers mentality. I over think everything. Makes me a good programmer but also sometimes a guy with no common sense

Appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I can identify - it's easy to get so wrapped up in the details that the trees disappear in the forest.
