Paypal + Authorize.net or 2Checkout: Need Help Finding a Solution.

Howdy!

Been dealing with paypals' reindeer games. Account limited twice this week, closed once, appeal denied, re-opened to full access. Supposedly they are done playing... not going to hold my breath.

I'm looking for a solution that allows for customized buy buttons that have drop down menus for several variables (one variable effects price), blank fields for buyers to enter info, and for that to load in a checkout page that can accept paypal and authorize.net. Other processors is fine too. The checkout page needs to be PCI complaint, so I don't need to worry about my website being.

Having an affiliate problem that works well would be great too.

2Checkout, not exactly the above, but they could work.. I just can't seem to figure out if the option values can be on my website, not in the shopping cart.

1Shoppingcart would have been great... but again same issue. Anyone know if it can be altered to work that way?

E-Junkie, they'd be good.. but not sure they are PCI complaint, and when I used them before I had an affiliate whose sales never tracked.

PayGear, would have been great.. but doesn't offer price variables.

Anyone know of a solution? Assuming paypal was being honest, I'd rather have a service that you can connect to several processors... then business could go on as usual or can be switched easily just by accessing the payment options in the control panel. 2Checkout I wouldn't have that option (so it's all eggs in that basket), so a bit hesitate there.. plus the 5% is kinda a bummer lol.

Thanks for the suggestions.

It would be best to first visit the processors you're interested in to be sure they will support the product you're selling.

After making sure the payment processor supports your product, BlueSnap (formerly Plimus) is a popular solution for the features you are currently looking for. They focus on recurring charge optimization with a fallback recovery mechanism for failed charges. With no additional integration the platforms provides fully branded checkout pages or API offering multi currencies and languages, one click charge, and 38 payment methods in addition to the credit card selection.

Similar to FastSpring and Avangate, BlueSnap does not require a U.S. merchant account.
The platform provides a BuyNow page customized for better converting reducing card abandonment while the fraud protection and PCI DSS certification reassures the consumer their details are protected.

Hi there! You are able to customize our buy buttons and our integrations team can help you: techsupport@2co.com
We do offer PayPal as a payment option within our services and we are PCI Level 1 certified, the highest level certification possible.
We also have an affiliate program and I would be happy to put you in touch with the person who manages that program if you like. Just email me at aeshelman@2co.com and I can connect you so you can learn details.
The 5% is a bundled rate so you will not be paying any fees such as: monthly, merchant, setup, gateway, recurring, cancellation, etc. In the end our rate is competitive. We bundled it so that it will be easier on our sellers: you only pay a fee when you sell something (as it's a per transaction fee).
Hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, best of luck!

On your site, it says 5.5%. Even at 5%, that is a lot higher than someone would pay with paypal and authorize.net. You can say it is easier to bundle it, but it really isn't... especially when it costs more.

Your underwriters, after finishing the review, changed the rate to 7.5%, which is totally unacceptable. That is not easier, eating in to our margins like that. I know you have no control over that though.

Thanks for the response Plimus, but with most products sold being under $50, the fees are even worse.

Not to mention NEITHER of your companies accept Internet Marketing, Make Money Online or Make Money From Home products. Both of you have been coming down hard on many IMers in the past year and a half.

NO problem, sorry we're not able to help you.

Most payment gateways, including ours, are unable to accept payments for IMers because of processing problems and credit card schemes no longer supporting the IM biz.

Processors approved for processing such payments undergo careful underwriting and monitoring. The processing company can not immediately respond to the myriad of Internet marketing sellers and unfortunately those using the system to deceive a customer cause the processor penalty fees and suspended accounts.

Woo Commerce wordpress themes allow for adding variables to products, including variables with different prices. I use authorize.net with a merchant account for one of my physical products ecommerce sites with variable products. Not sure if my merchant account would accept make money online products and Paypal, 2C0 and probably Plimus have problems in that department.

We're not using wordpress, so that wouldn't work. Is that how your sites are all set up?

We aren't selling money making products and paypal has given us approval. Of course, this came after being limited, getting the dreaded account closed-go-away email, then having full access returned and then passing another final review.

So while we feel safe about paypal, it would be really stupid not having another payment option.

I recently went through a similar challenge. I have 4 ecommerce sites. Two I use Standard Paypal, one Paypal Advanced, and one authorize.net with a merchant account. I also have Google Checkout and Amazon Simple Pay, both of which I don't use much.

        They are all WooCommerce sites.

Would you have any idea if the plugin (or code) could be made to work on a non-wordpress site?

It would be wonderful to have something that could allow us to use paypal, 2checkout, and authorize.net. Always a backup that can be switched too. Surprised it is so hard to find this.

I use WooCommerce extensions for the payment gateways, so you would probably have to get something custom coded. I can change my gateway in a second or two as long as I am approved by that payment method for each site.

Yeah, that is what I loved about E-Junkie, but it is a bit limited and doesn't work with 2checkout. Do the extensions have an affiliate system that tracks well or no?

Hey i just wanted to pass along paymentwall.com i use them on a few of my website. there fees can get crazy.....

But say you want to accept payments from just about anywhere in the world this is the best i have found. i mean you can even accept coin star vouchers lol and just so many payment methods.

Not sure is this is what your looking for but i can vouch they pay on time and give your website global payment possibilities. Huge + in my book

Just came across Nanacast on here. Looks like it could be exactly what I wanted, if the API does allow for the customization needed and can pass that on to Authorize.net, 2checkout, and paypal.

Have you tried Payza? They seem a little different but because they are new you will have limited clients who have access to it. You can also discuss with 2co, they have good CSO.

Isn't Payza just a reincarnation of the old defunct AlertPay that couldn't process credit cards and had many problems?

Turns one Nanacast can't be customized how we want. WooCommerce can't be coded to work on the site, without switching to WP and too many high ranks to risk that. And don't really like WP.

Anyone know if there is something like WooCommerce but works without WP?
