Read This Before You Start Writing Your E-Book
I have been conducting a lot of research on how to write a killer E-Book and I figured I would share what I learned with all of you.
First, you need to determine what you want to write about. Ideally, you should write about a topic that you are personally passionate about. Of course, there should also be a demand for information about that particular topic. Take some time to write down your personal interests and then use a popular search engine such as Google to determine whether or not people are interested in whatever it is that you are interested in.
If you determine that there is a demand for information on a topic you are passionate about you just struck gold and you know that your E-Book will make at least a few sales.
Secondly, you need to gather as much information regarding the topic as you possibly can. It is relatively easy to collect information to use in your E-Book from online sources but what you need to realize is that most of the information that can be found online has already be shared on thousands of different websites and it is no longer valuable.
I recommend that you head down to your local library and read as many books that the library has on the topic you are interested in. You will be surprised at how much new information you can find about a particular topic at a library. You can combine the information that you find via offline sources with the information that you find from online sources and compile it all into a nice outline.
The next step is to just start writing. I personally enjoy reading E-Books which are written in friendly conversational tone. It is important that you learn how to transition smoothly from each point in your book to the next and summarize the main points at the end of your E-Book. Don't rush the writing process, take your time.
You should also insert some nice unique images into the body of the book to make it look nice. Focus on writing a E-Book that people will want to read. Take pride in your work. Don't just rush through the writing process so you can start marketing the book, go slow.
Once you finally finished writing your book the next step is to start marketing it to bring in some sales. I will save that part for another post.
REMEMBER! quality > time.
I hoped I helped someone with this post
Until next time!
