Keeping your rank in Google

Hello fellow warriors,

I have a few sites with several pages, but I have the problem that if I don't build links to one of the pages in my site in around 3 weeks, it decreases rank. It's difficult to continually build links to all of the pages.

-Now, there are pages with a higher google rank and less backlinks, why do my sites decrease rank so quickly?

-Can you recommend a way to continually build backlinks or keep my rank?

Don't waste your time obsessing over rankings.

Just publish good quality original content.

The days of chasing backlinks and building thin sites are done.

Focus on doing what you already know you should be doing.

I agree, consistent quality content from a real person built up over time is the way.

Consider outsourcing to the Phillipines. Maintaining content every once in a while can payoff well if you monetize it properly.

Keep the sites with activity. Get people talking
about them, sharing them, and make it
    interactive with your list.

From what I understand you're talking about niche sites that you want to run on autopilot? Like 3 -5 posts and just build backlinks? If so check your on page seo, and make sure it's not just a google dance.

If not, I agree with the above comments about adding new content as it will keep your site fresh and relevant. You can do the same with niche sites, but the selling post has to be sticky or just use a static page for the homepage.

That's why they say SEO is a continuous process. You should regularly earn links from different forms of content such as articles, press releases, infographics, videos etc. Google's current algorithms have the tendency to derank a website very fast (within a day) if the page stops getting links. If you do not have enough time to build links regularly, hire some SEO company to do that.p Just get an yearly of 6 month plan from them based on your budget and keep it going.

You don't have to worry about rank if you get your own traffic like from doc sharing sites, twitter, FB, etc. then it doesn't matter where you are on Google. If you are in charge of your own traffic. There is a new plugin by Ricky Mataka WPsocialzon for amazon products that creates docs from your pages and then posts to these sharing and social sites, you can make money without Google's ranking. Unless you have another reason to rank high other than making money.
