Please confirm this for me. I really think this is important.

Specially for a those newbies who are looking for a larger and simpler picture on how making blogs/sites and monetizing them works so please bear with me on this o veteran IMers.

I think you've seen me many times asking questions on websites and here's another one.

I've been wanting to buy some sites (and I have) since the start of January and I notice that they seem to have one thing in common that I noticed for those making sites for PPC campaigns for adsense and the like.

Putting domain names and hosting aside, what they'll do for you is to

1) design your site or upload a wordpress theme if you want a wordpress site
2) write at least 5 articles on that niche that you want
3) then spread backlinks for that site to attract traffic

Then it's up to you whether you'll want to add paid traffic to it (which is against google TOS).
But it seems the backlinks drip is the most important (assuming it's white hat of course) because it's what brings visitors to your site.

I the reason I want to ask this and confirm is because "I THINK", that's just what we noobs seems to be doing just the same but we fail because we don't spread backlinks I guess?
We write a great article we like at blogger (or your own site with paid hosting and domain name), but that's it. We don't spread backlinks, and if we do not know how, we hesitate to buy backlinks.

Anyway, is my view with 1 2 3 correct? I mean aftter making backlinks and bringing visitors and apply and earn from adsense, that's the time for us to move on and make a new one for a new niche again?

      Screw backlinks.

Don't make backlinks for the sake of making backlinks.

Go to your favorite social sharing site, start a group related to your niche, and drive traffic. Drive targeted traffic.

If you are looking to buy adsense sites, you are going to need to do more than drive traffic. Those sites want/crave more than just 5 pages of content.

It depends what you buy, where you buy and who you buy from and what type of site you are talking about, how its monetised and what type of business model you are employing.

I am assuming you mean purchasing a "done for you site" from a WSO or something like that, even that varies again depending on who you buy from and what they're offering.

If you look around flippa you can find all sorts or sites ranging from a plethora of worthless garbage to high quality sites that are established and very successful and everything in the middle.

Uhm yeah I'm talking about the done for you website but that's not the point I'm trying to make.
I think it's my fault not being able to explain it clearly.
What I mean to say is the fact that whether if we buy the site or build it ourselves, it always go down to those three phases.

    Done for you site
Create a fully designed site for you
    Write articles to the site
    Spread backlinks for the site
Add Adsense to it for earnings
    Rinse and then repeat

    Site you created yourself
Start at blogger or create your own site
    Write articles to your site
    Spread backlinks for the site
Add Adsense to it for earnings
    Rinse and then repeat

I would also put niche and product research in there somewhere at the very beginning.

Seriously, I think you need to devise a plan of action. It's one thing for the gurus to tell you to put five articles on a site with proper keyword research of course, and wait for the traffic to come. Building a site is work and it's not something that you can do over night. You have to take one site (hopefully something you're passionate about) and work on it consistently. As one other poster recommended, spend some time hanging around those in your niche and share your wisdom. Make yourself an important part of the group by offering helpful information and/or advice. By default, I believe you have the potential to drive lazer targeted traffic to your site.

One word of caution though. If it's a new blog site, placing ad sense ads on it may not be the right course of action. You may want to track your analytics to find out your traffic level prior to trying to monetize it. Just take your time and do it right.
