What do you expect to find when, you type "blogging" in google.

Do you expect a website dedicated about everything such as seo, marketing tips, copywriting?

When I type blogging in Google, I expect to find a plethora of different things. First and foremost, the definition of blogging. Secondly, maybe some tips on blogging. Lastly, an example of a successful blogging website.

Thanks for the feedback. I needed some direction what others like yourself, had in mind when typing the word.

I expect to find sites such as Blogger, Wordpress, Blogspot and other sites that are dedicated to individuals updating their daily "journals." With the term "blogging" I think more of someone teaching you how to blog, or sharing their tips. It just really depends on the form of the word used and in this case it is a verb. Good question.
    Signature

Affiliate templates are not allowed in signatures

Web 2.0 comes up first in the search like BamaGuy said and then the other SEO, IM blogs and forums comes up...!

I would expect a wikipedia link explaining the concept of blogging.

The rest of the front page would be adverts for popular blogs that are linked to the sort of thing you've previously searched for. Magazine style blogs such as Mashable will have the budget to do this.

Thanks, so when typing the word blogging, you expect someone to help you with tips on the blog overall.

Thats great, but is that what you wanted to find, when typing the word blogging. If you were to type for that word, what would be your reason?

Thanks for awesome response. What would be your reason for typing blogging? To make money? Is it because you`d want to improve your blog?

I would expect to find general information about blogging and blog platforms, and at the top as previously stated, the Wikipedia article on blogging. I would not expect to find information on SEO, marketing tips, or copywriting.

Given that it's Google I'd expect Blogger to be top or at least in the top three. Something from Wikipedia and Wordpress would probably be on page 1 too.

I except a huge amount of information! Far too much hence the need to narrow down the search- depending on what you are looking for'! Let's say you are looking for article marketing - key in " blogging + article marketing" for instance! Some blogs specialized in this field/area will pop up!

Blogging is a very GLOBAL term and there are probably millions of pages! It really depends on what you want!

Are you trying to assess the intention of users who might be searching for keywords that you're considering for a project? If so, I haven't checked the figures, but I'd imagine that 'blogging' is highly competitive, so I'd suggest considering more specific terms.

I'd expect definitions and explanations of blogging and how it's evolved, as well as guides to writing posts and getting a blog set up.

That term is so broad, I can't see people just typing in blogging unless they don't know what blogging is and just want a definition.

I expect to find huge websites talking about blogging and what it's about. I dont even expect the PPC ads that show up to promote any kind of product directly.
