Was Denied By PETCO. Help Needed!!

Applied to PETCO's affiliate program though CJ. It was instantly denied. Aaaarrggh....

Not sure why... except possibly cuz I had not filled out the W9 info? (slightly paranoid giving out my SS#) I have now entered all the required info, but is still denied.

I have not promoted any other products on CJ so have no history of sales. Could that be the cause? I have emailed the rep at PETCO but not received a response.

What do I need to do to get accepted?

    almost all (if not all) the programs on cj have a contact to an affiliate manager for the program.

    shoot them an email and ask what you can do to get accepted.

    I've had many companies autodeny me just to allow me after an email to the affiliate manager

    Unfortunately, not filling out the W-9 would be my best guess as to why you were denied.

    Here's the situation: If you don't fill out that form, Petco then has to expend extra manpower withholding taxes from all income paid to you. Obviously they would rather turn you down that waste money on that exercise.

    You might want to see if they will allow you to fill out the form locally and mail it in. Either way, it has to be done.

    Try looking into popshops .com (free)
    You can create a storefront using your CJ, Linkshare, Shareasale, Pepperjamnetwork affiliates...
    You can promote Petco hat way...
