Is this too elementary?

I know there are a lot of newbies to IM, but how new are they? I have been working on several products where some provide some very basic information, such as the steps to building a website, etc.

Do you think these types of products would be too basic for folks who are new to the IM game? I mean, I could have used some of this stuff when I started out, but I'm sure not everyone is like me.

    There will always be a fresh crowd joining the IM scene, so yes these types of products are viable. Everybody has to start at the beginning and start learning the ropes.

    Kevin Riley, a good friend of mine, sells IM infoproducts geared towards newbies, and he assumes no previous knowledge. He has step-by-step guides for tasks like upgrading your PayPal account and getting set up as an affiliate at networks like JVZoo and DigiResults.

    You can't go wrong by assuming that your customers know NOTHING about Internet Marketing or getting a website set up. You can only add value by including step-by-step guides that cover the basics, and your more experienced customers can easily skip the guides they don't need and go to the marketing tactics.

    As others have said, there will always be new people in almost any market.

    And remember that even "old hands" won't necessarily know about everything - things like Pinterest, etc.

    I think it can help some people.
    People are afraid from not knowing how to do somthing.Before I touched wordpress I had no idea how easy it can be so I was happy to get some free wordpress guieds as a gift although I never even downloaded it.

    No, of course not! There are always newcomers and they'll be more than happy to get their hands on those products you call "basics"! I have been doing IM for quite a while now and I regularly go back to those basics! Elementary, my dea rmstrmindmktg!! Elementary but very essential!
