How do you sell resell rights on a digital product? Do you include some kind a permission form or contract?

    You include a simple text license with the rights to the product, example of rights license:

    Resell Rights License Terms:

    [YES] Can be used for personal use
    [YES] Can sell
    [YES] Can be packaged
    [YES] Can be added to paid membership sites
    [YES] Can be offered as a bonus
    [NO] Can be given away
    [NO] Can be added to Free membership sites
    [NO] Can be offered through auction sites
    [NO] Can sell Resale Rights
    [NO] Can sell Master Resale Rights

    As far as I know, you basically state the terms and conditions on the sales page of the item that you are selling. You may also include the terms inside the product itself.

    For example, if you are selling an ebook and you don't want to sell resale rights, you may state that "this book is for personal use only and no part of it may be resold, transmitted or reproduced in any form or by any means without prior written permission from the author."

    If you are selling resale rights, you may say: "Yes you may resell the book etc etc..."

    As to a contract, the fact that your customers bought the product means that they are agreeing to your terms and conditions.
