New user registration -email from Wordpress

INTERNET MARKETING

Note: I already have Akismet and Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin installed on my website.

Ok, I got 2 emails saying "New user registration on your site" Username:XXX
Email: XXX

At first I had no clue, but then I googled a little bit about it.
Went to Settings->General-> Unchecked "Anyone can register".

Now hopefully I will not get those spammy emails again.

What about the 2 users which I already registered. Can i bar them?

Check your WP settings -> reading -> discussion.

  You either didn't read the OP where he stated clearly what he did (correctly, btw!) in the wp-admin... or you have no idea what you are talking about. In both cases your comment is completely useless.

They are just new user notifications from your WordPress system.

You will not receive them once you turn off the registration feature.
