I need traffic to simply boost visitor and impression monthly figures. If I can get targeted decent traffic then great but no big deal if its more expensive. I have read other threads but don't see anyone pointing out websites to go to that they use themselves.

If you are looking at PPC then it really comes down to using the big hitters such as Google/Facebook/Yahoo/Bing ads. All the more obscure PPC networks such as 7 Search will have cheap clicks, but bring disappointing results.

Idiaz117 thanks for your inquiry. In my experience traffic is a tricky monster. But to me, it works in a very simple fashion. I would coin it like this: When you give to internet (the google gods, yahoo, bing, etc.) the content that they want, they will give you visitors.

That's from a search engine standpoint. Right?

Now from a free traffic standpoint, you also need to give to others what it is that they want and they will hunt you down to find out how to get more from you. Right?

Let's take it a step further and consider paid traffic. Same principle. If you GIVE money, they will in turn GIVE you traffic. I must add that all sources are not as good as others, but you get my point.

The name of the game from my perspective is that you will get what you give. If you have money, time, or value on the table, it's a trade off in the internet marketing world. This may be a lengthy post, but I was trying to make my point clear. Just know that traffic is all around you and you just want to tap into the RIGHT traffic, not just any old traffic.

I hear ya buddy. In this case, it is all about showing someone that the numbers are what they are. So cheap paid traffic that will show up on analytics increasing visitor and impressions. That's it.

Look through their inventory and investigate the sites that look like a good fit.

I get an average $0.15 - $0.25 clicks for good quality traffic. Make sure to test different ads as a small difference in your ad can make a huge difference in your profit margin.

    Try adf.ly

It is really cheap, espescially when you chose worldwide traffic instead of a specific
country. It is not high quality traffic but it will get the job done.

I would also recommend facebook PPC rather than google PPC.

If you mean PPC, there are many choice of options. and if you niche is very dependent on a targeted traffic, you should join the ad network from big people. facebook is definitely the best way to promote a very dependent niche. their primary business is selling information and advertising anyway.

Try advertising on blogs. Go to the blog directories and find blogs in your niche that you can advertise on. Same with high traffic websites in your niche. Also... start your own affiliate program.
