Product Launch Sequence?

Hey all,

I'm thinking of launching a product soon and, admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about the process itself, which is why I'm counting on you guys to help me out

I don't need guidelines on actually creating the product, I'll take care of that, but what other steps do you need to take if you want to make it a sucessful launch? I would say recruite affiliates, hire copywriters?

What is the exact sequence of launching a product? 1) 2) 3)...

Also, if you could give me a link to a good resource to read about it, I'd be most appreciative!

Thanks!!
Zannix

    1. Start attracting affiliate, JVs and partners to test your product.

    2. Set up the sales page and finish the product. Make sure that your product delivers what your sales page says, otherwise your affiliates and customers won't trust you in the future.

    3. Test your product / ask for feedback to improve it.

    4. Split test your sales page with PPC traffic

    5. Set up auto-responder messages

    6. Launch (promote it to your affiliates & partners) mention what your conversion rate is and how much split testing you have done to increase THEIR profits.

    7. Keep split testing and improving the product, then repeat.

Here is how I'd do things (but I'm white-belt, so double check with more experienced warriors):

    traffic -> squeeze page -> free giveaway #1 ->autoresponder sequence started -> email #1 -> email #2 -> free giveaway #2 -> email #3 -> free giveaway #3 -> email #4 -> Sales page.

The idea behind a launch is to pre-sell your product by announcing its forthcoming release, using an email sequence to build anticipation and increase your audience awareness of the problem they have and the solution you will bring to them, using giveaways to demonstrate your authority/expertise, etc.

    Hope that helps.

Dude, create the product, make sure it's quality and it helps your market to solve it's problem.

Write the sales page, or hire a copywriter to do this with you.

Set all the techy stuff (buyers list, autoresponder sequence, thank you page etc..)

Create a jv page telling them of how will this benefit their subscribers + details about the commissions launch etc..)

collect their emails, promote this jv page in warriorjv.com and muncheye.com

Make sure everything is set, and launch it.

(basically, do your market research, solve a problem and write a good sales page)

    Hope this helps,
    Tom

So, basically I have to get my affiliates before I even launch. Where and how is the best way to do this?

The EXACT SEQUENCE is a way beyond what anybody can write in a post here...there are full courses with 100+ hours on just launching a simple ebook.

But at the very basic level.

Get the product finished. Then set up the launch. Get a good prelaunch going and recruit affiliates who will bring a bulk of the traffic most likely. Then do the launch with a good sales funnel and good exit strategy. Then build on your momentum and keep going.

    Super simplified yeah

  • Kenster's super simplified method is spot on:-)

Finish product, build your affiliate list with a JV page (typically 2-4 weeks before launch) and than launch. Make sure you have a solid front end, high converting OTO's, nice graphics, good copy. There is a lot that goes into a launch.

I have what may be a stupid question but... how to do you create a JV page? How do you create each affiliate link and the banners etc that will be set up for each affiliate and then how do you know when an affiliate has sent someone who buys? How do you know how much to pay them? (Where do you login to see this)

Sorry I'm just super confused on how that whole thing works... I feel like it's way beyond my scope of knowledge... setting up a JV page and getting people to promote your product but maybe there's a really simple way I just don't know about...

You can either using an affiliate platform that managed all this (such as clickbank, JVzoo, etc), or use a software/plugin such as this one (no aff. link).
