Does anyone know html code for affilaite banners?

I have affiliate banners, can anyone help me figure out how to make the html code that I will put on my site next to the banners for people to insert their affiliate links into and use the banners as links to get paid? Or am I over thinking this and warrior plus does this all for me when I get my wso sales page approved?

I have a plugin that creates the code so the affiliates post in their affiliate link and click a button now all resources (swipes/banners) will replace the word [LINK] with their affiliate links and they can easily copy and paste the banner code on their websites...however the plugin i use was a wso that isnt being sold anymore im sure you can find something similar aff promo tools.. of course that is if i read the question right ;p

You are probably over thinking it.

Making a banner link somewhere is the same way you would make an image link somewhere....unless you're doing some tech savvy stuff with Java

    HTML Code:
    <a href="http://affiliate-link.com"><img src="http://link-to-banner.com/banner.jpg"></a>

ok, I'm still confused. I followed Nate's instruction and have this on my page:
    <a href="INSERT YOUR AFFILIATE LINK HERE"><img src= "http://www.mattkendo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/
    bannerorangehori_fin.jpg"></a>

It makes the banner appear but when I click on it nothing happens. Can anyone guide me?

Did you put a real URL where it says "INSERT YOUR AFFILIATE LINK HERE" eg:

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.google.com"><img src= "http://www.mattkendo.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/
    bannerorangehori_fin.jpg"></a>

ok, that makes sense, so it won't work until someone does that, right?

Correct, or you could use a script so the link is automatically generated within the code snippet, then affiliate can just copy the code.
