You need to other websites linking back to your video, the more interaction you get via comments and likes boosts your rankings.

Yeah like what Screen Text said, you need some Social exposure to get it some juicy backlinks linking back to your YouTube video.

It could also have something to do with the backlinks you got, they might be bad ones and not really high PR links. Get some good backlink packages and drive the traffic directly to your YouTube video to really drive it.

I forget the WSO that came out on the WF a few weeks ago, it explained more on it, on how to rank your videos with getting good quality backlinks.

Use Fiverr. I paid someone to send me loads of views once. These were fake bot views but the result of a high amount of views in a short space of time meant my video showed on the front page as trending. Ongot loads of quality traffic from this. All for a fiver!

Are there other videos within the first 5 pages of Google SERPs? For some keywords, Google simply doesn't include videos, or rank them very highly.

How is your video ranking on Youtube? You'll almost always get more traffic from Youtube search for a video than from Google. Plus, Google seems to use the highest ranking videos in Youtube in the Google SERPs for the most part.

Let me add, IMO it's almost always better to create more videos and go after other keywords than it is to try and force a single video to the top of the SERPs. Unless you are going after a super-valuable keyword, you may want to consider just creating more videos and targeting other/more keywords.

Like wakey said above you need views. Also you can buy blog comment links on fiverr as well. Unlike Google Youtube doesn't care where you get links from as long as there are a lot of links to your video. Don't forget social bookmarks either.

Purchase views,likes,comments and subscribers on fiverr...These things are a huge rankingfactor..
Make sure you get a gig that provides you this over 1-2 weeks.
If you get all in one day google may work against you with a penalty.

Embed your video on as many web 2.0 sites as possible. Write a small 100 word article with your video.Also link back to your video with your keyword as anchor text. Provide unique content to each site.

Social bookmark every of these web 2.0 sites.I`ve seen fiverr gigs with good reviews do social bookmarking on unlimited amounts of sites.

What I learned is that you don't have to link your videos in other websites.

I have never done this and get some of my videos on page 1.

Your title is very important and the best thing you can do is to create more videos and see how they work for you. You are not the only video there for your specific keywords so there will never be a guarantee that it will rank high.

Could be due to a lot of things. Maybe Google has not even indexed it yet so try Pinging the URL... Also, you need views, likes, backlinks to rank on Youtube or Google especially if your keyword is a little competitive.

Embed your vid on loads of sites (and index those webpages as well)

I truly appreciate them.

I think I have actually done pretty much what everyone has suggested and my video is not showing up anywhere in Google searches unless I put the exact URL into the search bar. This makes me suspect that the video has been sandboxed.

Possible?

And, if one changes the title of the video later on, to a less competitive keyword...will Google penalize the video?
