What are the best solo ads? I see some in Fiverr that have a large amount sent to safelist, are these worth $5? What do you recommend for buying solo ads, and whom from?

Save yourself the money and don't buy from fiverr; not the best traffic. I suggest you check out the JV section of the forum, there are plenty of solo sellers there. Look at the sales pages of different sellers and shop around. More importantly, make sure that whoever you choose has a lot of good reviews and an overall good reputation, and you should be fine. :-)

I send out solo ads to my mailing list. I used to send out the typical SPAMMY swipe ads you see all over the place. I STOPPED that. Now I use a format that is INFORMATIVE instead of spammy. I require all solo ad buyers to COMPLY with this format. SO far so good...

Why the change? Your list loses its power if you keep blasting it with spammy or hyped ads. People are looking for INFORMATION... give it to them

Hello,

Look for quality lists that match your targeted market. For example I have a large list and people use it all the time to "test" ad copies because we offer a service where you can run a solo ad and use 2 different ad copies to see which copy works best...

  Don't use Fiverr for solos. You'll only pollute your list with weight you'll have to pay for.
  
  I suggest you don't get carried away in the popular solo sellers reputations and lists neither. It's hearsay and it's getting shady.
  
  The best bet is to harvest a few people in your specific niche and make a proposal of money for a solo or an adswap.
  
  All of the best solos and adswaps I've done have seen a huge advantage over using any famed solo ad seller.

The best solo ads I ever purchased, I paid $2,000 for and negotiated it myself with a private list owner.

It will be dependent on the niche market that you are in. If you are in the IM market, you can look for solo ads from the JV section of this Forum as there are many reliable solo ads.

However, if you are in the other niche market, you will need to look for it as it is not widely available. One thing that I have learn is that you can contact product owner and ask them whether they are willing to sell solo ads.

I would agree with the posts above that don't use Fiverr for your lists.
Try to go in the JV sections. There's a lot of solo ads seller that has a good reputation in the community.

For quality, look in WF. Fiverr SHOULD be able to get you results, like if they have lists of 10 000 for $5, and can provide you screenshot proof, I don't see why not? After all, it's so cheap.

Don't buy from fiverr. You might get traffic but honestly its completely rubbish. You will not get a single optin and don't even think about getting any sales. Safelist solos don't work that well either.

I found a good list of solo ad vendors on cheapsoloads.org. Definitely worth checking out.

  Folks have already suggested Reed who is great! Great resource and all around great guy, but I want to suggest you looking at blogs directly that collect emails and contact them to ask if they'd be interested in selling you a sponsored email mailing. This way you're not buying from the same pool as the masses and you can probably get a better pricing as well.

Safe-swaps has been corrupted too.. I know lots of people who are failing with it.. I wouldn't recommend it

Read reviews on any solo ad you might want to run. Ask the seller how they built up there list. Also, inquire why are they running solo ads? How many subscribers are they adding on each month? Are there any buyers in there list.

Using Reed's directory, fetch solo ad sellers and make them answer the above questions. Too many scams on going these days.
