I decided to START with lose weight

hello warriors, I decided to build my first landing page in the lose weight niche and start rock n roll... I got tired of watching videos and buying ebooks

Now what?

so I bought 200 clicks on SOLO ads at safe swaps and its' going pretty good... i think. I got about 163 clicks so far and 60 subscribers... I think its good.

I also, set up an OTO for only $7 bucks and I made no sales so far

Now I am getting ready to start sending emails... but it's only 60 people.

    Way to get your feet wet. List building is very valuable. You can do really well with a small list of 1 or 2 thousand people if you know how to build a relationship with your list.

    Keep going, never stop.

        @WillR brother... I know. I think is too good to be true... I just sent my first follow up message today (not selling anything) just a cool blog post done by someone else and I just shared with care.

        but you are right... I got to stay away from SOLOS, I guess! What should I do?

        FYI adwords just kick me out yesterday... I guess my landing page is not good for them.. sucks!

    It's a good start. Anything in the right direction is a good start.

    You need to establish a trusting relationship with your subs. Provide them with more value that answers to their problems through e-mail series.

    With that, they will more likely buy your offer.

    You also need to test and tweak your funnel.

    Don't stop here and continue to grow your list even further.

      Exactly. Before you sell them anything, try to build up a great relationship.

      A fast way to do this is through video marketing. Maybe make 3-5 videos and schedule them to go out every day or every other day.

      Don't read from a script and don't just sit in front of a white wall. Make it entertaining and let your personality come through.

      People buy into other PEOPLE and not necessarily the company or brand. If people get to know you and can trust you, your sales will soar!

    Stay consistent man and keep at it and you will be fine... Be sure to track everything and always build upon your squeeze pages to get it to the highest conversion possible... Also do you have a nice strong follow up in place that goes to your subscribers???

    Make sure you have a strong relationship building follow up in place and during your follow up you can educate your subscribers on why they need to buy your OTO... Give them the benefits they will achieve by purchasing your product...

    Remember to test test test and track track track and always tweak all your pages to get it to the highest converting page possible...

    Not bad. You're in the right track. Just continue building your lists and build a strong relation between you and your lists. Don't forget to give your lists values or something that they can benefit (which is very important).

    Great start!

    Get emailing trout list straight away - make sure to give them value in every email!

    Don't worry to much about the sales at first, concentrate on getting more people to subscribe and writing quality emails and the sales will come.

    Great! I am happy to hear you are taking some action and making some progress. People often get stuck for years trying to think of the perfect strategy before they start working. I think everyone should start working on something even if just for the experience!

    Are you considering your own product or do you plan on only being an affiliate? In that niche, you need to be careful about giving what could be deemed 'medical advice' if you create your own product. One thing you might safely do though is a report comparing other people's systems geared at saving them time researching the numerous available 'lose-weigt' options.

      I am definitely looking to do my own product but I got to find the time... I think managing the time you WASTE online trying to figure stuff out is crazy!

      it took me a few hours today to send my first follow up email (besides of the immediate email the subs get after opt-in)

      ... SO I THINK i will do some good will first and try to push some affiliate under the radar and see maybe in a month or two I will create my own product.

    That is a good start. You know that people are interested in reading valuable content. Something that can benefit them. Build up a good relation with your subscribers. I suggets you should start using social media marketing site like twitter and facebook. This will allow you to know more about them so you can create powerful content and this way people will love to subscirbe.

    60 leads in a weight loss email list are more than enough to make a sale, or even two, depending on how targeted or desperate people in your list to losing weight.

    This is a good start. You will learn along the way.

    Is there some way to give away a sample free chapter or excerpt to signups? And, then get signature links (for your sign up page for the free sample) from various health and nutrition/diet related forums. Each person who requests the free sample ebook excerpt will have to sign up to your main email list and that could increase your mailing list very quickly. Don't forget to send out daily 'diet/nutrition' tips to your list, not just ads for your paid product.

      Forget trying to make money straight up from the OTO right now.

      Instead, after people opt in to your list have a video with you in the video telling them about the product (the OTO) and how they can get it for free if they just hit the Facebook like button below.

      This will give you viral traffic. (Weight loss is awesome for viral traffic because almost anyone can become a customer)

      Then in the product (The OTO) you can pre-sell another product... either an affiliate product or your own.
