Using the "More" Tag on WordPress Pages

Hello Everyone,

I am having problems using the custom more tags in wordpress for my main static page. Please, can anyone offer help on how to achieve this. Thanks in advance.

    You need to be more specific... one thing I always do is load tinymce advanced or ultimate - will give you more options in the editor

      Thank you for your response. To be more specific I have created a page that I have made static as my homepage. It is the content I want to use the more tags on but unfortunately more tags does not work on pages. That's my problem. I trust that this is explicit. Thanks

    Would you life to have your posts appear as excerpts on your home page? If so there is a option under settings that does this for you. You can also change this in side the template itself.
