Web Biz Set-up / Building Tasks... Is There a Master-List Out There?

Hi Folks,

Just joined WF but I'm amazed at the goldmine of info I'm seeing being provided out there by folks!

A quick question:

Is there a resource (report / ebook, etc.) out there listing the many many tasks or activities involved in both setting-up and building / expanding one's we biz?

A 'master list' of sorts of all or a great majority of the tasks involved in doing the above mentioned.

With this list, a person could then pick and choose from it and formulate one's own 'To-Do' list for the coming day of what they plan on achieving for that day - vs - sitting down at one's desk and thinking, 'Ok, now what should I do?'

For e.g. - Traffic. What are the various traffic options one could pick and choose from to work on each day?
List-building? Product creation?

Does anybody know of such a 'master list' resource or is it simply a matter of compiling one's own?

Thanks folks!

    Hi Jeff, welcome to WF!

It is indeed a goldmine of info, unfortunately, not all the info you will mine will be gold!

Sure there will be eBooks and reports out there with step by step instructions, but that will depend on what stage you are at and exactly what you want to achieve - don't get bogged down by too many things.

      Thanks Romeo90!

I appreciate your response and maybe I need to first spend a little more time looking around WF as I might find everything I need right here.

      Thanks again!

So basically, you just want a blueprint that covers all stages of production and traffic building? I don't think there's a free one here on WF. PM me and I'll make a custom one for your niche. Free. This offer is good for anyone else reading this thread.

      Hi Writeaway!

Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this:

Let's say, a newbie learns that there are say 3 key components of an Internet marketing biz - a) Offers; b) List-building; c) Traffic

Now, within each of those 3 core components, there are many 'sub-components'.

      For e.g. - Traffic.
Well, within traffic, there would be article marketing, Youtube marketing and so on.

What I was thinking was simply what are ALL (or the great majority) of the sub-components that go under each of those 3 core components?

What are the... all the activities that go into... a) Offers; b) List-building; and c) Traffic

The reason was I was asking if such a resource exists, for when it comes time to actually plan out your day and decide what 'tasks' one will do in say, 'Traffic' for e.g., one would have a nice, neat list that one could work their way down.

Basically, 'compilations' of 'lists' of the various components / sub-components of an Internet marketing biz.

Anyways, thank you very much Writeaway for the generous offer! ... but I think I'll first scout around WF and get a general consensus if the kind of thing I'm thinking of even exists out there.

Thanks again for the very kind offer!

Erm it seems that you want everything being prepared in a silver platter. I personally feel it will be dependent on the business model that you are following and the stage that you are in in. I will personally focus on one model at a time and only seek for information that will help me to proceed ahead. Knowing information is good but it is only applied knowledge that will get results.

      Hi Jason!

      Thanks for the reply!

No, I didn't mean that I was looking for anything 'done for me' lol ... I was thinking more along the line of just general master lists for all the parts and and sub-parts of this biz so as to make it easier when it comes time to actually planning out one's day.

E.g. - If one has a master list of all the various traffic generation methods, then one can pick and choose maybe the ones they feel would be most effective and add those to one's To Do list for the day and / or week.

Now, that said, what you mentioned about focusing in on one area at a time made very good sense and the idea of only action giving results - again, well said!
So on that note, I may need to first think through a little more carefully my plan of attack before I spend any further compiling lists of anything.

      Thanks Jason! Much appreciated!

You can find a lot of the information you're looking for on the WF. There are all in one threads that may answer the kind of questions you have. You can get all of the information on that particular topic there. You can use the search feature of the forum to find years of valuable information.

You can use the product review forum to find a product that interests you to get the scoop. There are many products out there that detail each step by step process you think about. There are full home study courses that cover every aspect of online marketing to very specialized segments on online marketing.

It all depends upon what step you're currently on.
