If This Were Easy, It Would Also be Boring

In light of the endless multitude of "get rich quick" schemes, lies fed to unsuspecting newbies, outright scams, fake "gurus" who want to teach others how to make millions and yet find themselves selling off their personal possessions on eBay to make ends meet, deceptive products, push button BS and completely meaningless hype...

I just wanted to point out something about making money online. If it were easy, it would also be incredibly boring. Those who are meant to succeed get half of their kicks from the effort and hard work they put into it. If you were born with a trillion dollars, having money would mean very little to you. In fact, a person born into wealth like that would probably find it exhilarating and awesome to be homeless for a week.

Half of the reward is the work you put into it. It's all part of the fun, so enjoy it. Stop trying to avoid it. If you find yourself trying to take every shortcut possible then you won't get far at all. Do the work.

Hey, I'm the only person in the entire city of Portland that doesn't ride a bike to work...that has to count for something, right? Give me some credit, man. I'm also not a vegan, so I have that going for me as well.

I'm wondering just who those people are?

When you're down to your last dollar, deep in debt, and frantically trying to find success online before your rent is due, you're not too concerned about having a good time and finding happiness in the journey.

I'm not disputing what you're saying. I'm suggesting that folks in dire need of making a living somehow have a lot of more pressing thoughts on their minds than trying to find happiness in what they are doing.

You're absolutely right. I guess I was using the word success to separate those who are simply paying their bills to those who are doing bigger things as a result of their internet marketing. Building real businesses and scaling up. Buying things they have always wanted but never had, rather than just getting by each month.

But everyone should try to find something they enjoy, if at all possible. If you find a job you love doing, you never have to work another day.

People like that need to get a job and manage their money better.

I'm tired of seeing people quit their jobs to do this IM thing...seriously, why in the hell would you give up a steady revenue stream, for something that you don't know when/if the money will come in?

      That's not courage, that's stupidity.

It took me 12 hours a day studying and working for a year straight to get where I am today, and I am not even close to where I want to be. Oh well I guess it's another year of 12 hour days.

    It's true.

The fun is in the chase. With girls, with money, with everything in life. The fun part is always the journey and getting there. Once you actually obtain those things you want life can become quite empty and boring.

This here is what it is all about....

Ask anyone that is successful in internet marketing, and why they do this --and see what their answer would be.

You will not here anyone say it is for the money, (though that is nice to get paid for what you do), or something like so I can travel..

99% of them will say It is just so much fun!

They are the people who work for 8+ hours a day not because they have too but because they are so addicted to their business and having so much fun.

Actually make that if I was born with that amount of money in combination with the necessary intelligence to do things right and get thing done right 99.9% without having to struggle with doubts on should I do this or do that? is this right for me or is that right for me? or does this or that actually work? I almost forgot to mention should I really spend money on this or that and budgeting.

OK not everyone is or can be born Extremely Wealth or even Extremely Smart, everyone has to learn how to do things, it's not simply injected into our brains and mind. We observe what others do and then we follow.

Intelligence to me is just as important to wealth, because if I was extremely wealthy But extremely naive and dumb I'd go broke quickly taking others advice for granted and spend all my money blindly and recklessly. I'd probably follow the wrong crowd and just spend my money for the hell of it just cause the crowd I am in is also doing it and I wouldn't realize what I am doing isn't the best for me or my future.

With the necessary Intelligence I'd probably figure out how I can properly spend my money on what really matters like necessities. I'd save most of the money in case of any emergencies medical or otherwise.

Now one other thing to mention is if I had extremes on both I would need a Extremely Humble and Open mindset because then I think otherwise I'd potentially become really blinded with a huge overinflated ego with being a wealthy smartass.

A proven business model should be boring, because you only follow the standard process.

But a new business idea is often not so, you have to try and prove if it can work, and you should be creative, and it's fun.

I think whatever you do, you need to find the fun in it and you need to enjoy it. IM is not easy, but you can always find a new approach, a new product, etc. and it is never boring.
