      Thanks for reverting back.. but you mean that pinging updates wont yield any results at all...

      What are your suggestions if not pinging.

    Copy that list into WP. That way your site will automatically ping new content.

    All pinging does is inform the SE spiders that your site has been updated and should be crawled. It's not going to magically increase sales for you.
