Wordpress Local Hosting?

INTERNET MARKETING

Not too long ago there was a WSO for sale about installing Wordpress on your pc for testing and designing. If i'm not mistaken it also included a section on how to upload a fully working Wordpress installed website to a online hosting company after your work is completed. Not sure but the WSO could possibly be a software.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it... thanks!

I haven't seen a WSO like that but if you're trying to redesign your website, I would install WordPress on a subdomain and create the website. Once you're done then you can move it to your main domain.

Otherwise, you're going to have to install PHP, MySQL, etc. on your local computer which can get complicated if you're not a technical person.

Exactly, they're packed with the required modules such as Apache, MySql, and more for offline hosting environment.

  Possibly you're referring to this WSO which is actually giving away the local hosting software concerned, Instant Wordpress. The actual product for sale is the accompanying manual which you will need to get the most out of this software, for example, when transferring your local sites to web hosts.
  
  I use it all the time and can't recommend it enough. It's much simpler to use than WAMP and XAMP and far more convenient. There's also a product out there called WP Simulator but it's fairly pricey and I've never seen any reason to invest in it, given the aforementioned will adequately do the job.
