Help with new site and Amazon

Hi Warriors, I have a new site and wanted to monetize it with Amazon products. I applied to Amazon to become an affiliate and after they supposedly crawled my site I received an e-mail rejecting my application due to the site being still under construction and having little or no content.

The site is built using WordPress 3-5-1 using the 2012 theme. I have a static Home page with 542 words, an About page with 445 words, 10 published blog posts with a total of over 7,000 words. Is this little or no content?

I am new to Amazon. Could there be a technical problem with my site causing the Amazon crawler to miss this content? Or is this not enough content?

The site is indexed by Google. Bing and Yahoo have still not indexed it and it has been close to a month since I registered the domain with Bluehost. Could that be a factor? And by the way what's up with that. They were slower than Google on my last site launch but was indexed within 2 weeks.

I am waiting to hear back from Amazon but in the meantime is there anything I should be doing?

Thanks, Vic

    Hi VicG,

humm, I may not have a solution for you but I just wanted to let you know that I was accepted by Amazon with a lot less content on my site than what you have described. I did have a few ads on it linking to CJ and Clickbank, but not nearly the amount of content as yours has. It could be some type of technical blockage, but that is hard to say and will take some doing to figure it out. I do wish you the best of luck with it.

Unfortunately, you'll probably have to take it up with Amazon. Your site must have triggered some kind of red flag. What is the site about?

Thanks for your replies. The site theme is a leisure and lifestyle review. Primarily for guys, covering topics from how to make the best martini to landing a trophy gamefish. It would be rated PG. No obscene content. The concept is to link Amazon products to specific posts. You can check it out at hamptonsgreen.com
        Thanks, Vic

I've looked at the site. There is nothing there at My Site other than a green blank page which is a default GoDaddy site builder page. The Meta description links to GoDaddy.

If I'm in the right place I can see why Amazon wouldn't accept the site. Is the URL correct?

Thanks for your replies. That is odd. I just Googled the site and it came up but my C Panel at Bluehost shows the same blank green screen.
