Affiliate marketing the right way (my opinion)

I have been here since a long time and I have realized IM is now filled with scams and all. It really bothers me as ethics are the first things to consider in any business.

To affiliates: Why make a review on a product that you dont even know about. I mean even if you havent used the product yourself atleast research it up!

So instead, i think i have an unique idea and i want to share it because it might make affiliate marketers think twice. I am using it and so far i like it even though I would have loved more Warriors to come and review the products like they do on this forum.

Create a community on your blog. ask people to review products on your blog. As you can notice, there is a big internet marketing products ratings section here and its amazing. Why dont you do that in your blog and you can just create an article. We arent all SEO gurus, i would love to work on seo on my reviews since it would mean money on autopilot if I rank them on Google. But even if you dont know about seo just write it off and it will index on google and it might get you traffic.

In the end, you are a champion as an affiliate marketer as you can convince someone to click on your affiliate link and by the end of the day, if you dont make sells, you will promote discussion on a product that people have still not tried and you will be rewarded for your honesty and this will raise your credibility and popularity as an affiliate or internet marketer. Just by the time a new product comes up i research it here and there are dozens of people with comments already. It really helps you with buying products. I have always dreamt about having a clickbank account with 1000$ a day in sells and this might just be the strategy to become a Super Affiliate (My dream haha!)

Its really a Win-Win! Just my opinion on the IM industry of today with one click scams and a lot of garbage!

Names like Brad Callen, Chris Farrell are trustworthy because they do Im the right way and also contribute on this forum!

As to me the best way to earn as an affiliate is to build a big list of targeted audience broadcasting valuable videos to your subscribers regularly. Add video reviews of the products to the main videos you send them. For example you send them a link to the two videos put on the same page - one with value, one for selling. If you promote free sign ups or free trials it's no big deal. If you promote something with no trial - buy it yourself to be able to make a review. Don't promote vendors you don't trust and don't buy from. If you don't have money to purchase a product and you don't have enough traffic to earn from - don't promote products and services without free trials or promote them without reviews if the vendor is reputable. You can also research other reviews made by reputable affiliates you know and trust and make your own unique one based upon what you've learned.

I agree with you. I think being real is the key! And if you have a good review on your site it might cause someone to buy the product. In any event, people see through facades and they trust someone who is genuine. It will keep them coming back for more and wanting to buy from you.

Think of it if mcdonalds or any kind of offline business would rip people off, do you think people would buy...no! A business is a sale between vendor and clients and the sell must be ethical.

Unfortunately a lot of people are just too lazy to do good research on a product before they'll go refer it to someone else. I agree with others here that you really should only promote products that you have used. This will take more time and money but you will either know you are promoting a good product or you will be finding another product to promote. At the end of the day you are being an ethical marketer and hopefully will sleep better at the end of the night.
