    That would be a contradiction in terms, Szaby.

    A HYIP is - almost by definition - something that uses the investments of later participants to pay out earlier participants. They often pretend to be making high-return investments or trading forex very successfully with the funds, and paying people that way, but that's obviously deceptive nonsense, for two main reasons: first, if that were actually the case there'd be no reason for them eventually to collapse (as they invariably do) when not enough increasing numbers of new people join and they can no longer make the payments to the earlier people; secondly, if they could reliably make that sort of high return in the sort of way they claim, they'd hardly need to be running a HYIP scam to attract investment at all, would they? Any/every hedge fund in the world would happily pay them tens of thousands per month for their insights.
