Yeah they're certainly down "The connection has timed out", and web forms aren't loading. I think this is the first time I've caught them down actually.

This has been a bad week for web hosts.

It's leaving a lot of people dead in the water.

It's certainly been a bad week for the idea of the cloud in my opinion. Think what would happen if those went down for an extended period of time.

Hmm, first the EIG downtime and now Aweber is down - I'm smelling some major problems with other sites in the near future.

We depend too much on the net is working 24/365 and there is no alternative

  I work in construction since ages and face daily problems like workers don't show up, material supply delays days or weeks, outdoor work has to be postponed due to bad weather etc.......
  
  Guess people get used to a 99.9% update guarantee as advertised when we realize that all is as safe as it can get - not safe at all.
  
  Some part of me says THANKS GOD as it get's us back to reality that nothing in this world is perfect - not even hosting.

Yup just launched Misspelling Traffic Tornado | and it's not redirecting any of the links in the email ARGHHHH sucks to see something converting at 20% not get the fuel it needs to take off...come on aweber come back to life we need ya!

  I have a range of squeeze pages in different niches so this sort of thing is extremely annoying.
  
  First time I've noticed that it's happened since I've been with them so don't want to be overly critical but you would not expect this in 2013. Or at least you would expect a contingency plan.
