How to hide host domain?

So I've got a domain and delux hosting from godaddy for say site-A.com. I just registered a new domain site-B.com and added it to my hosting package. So basically it's being hosted on site-A.com/B. It points to it fine, but I don't like how when you're on site-B all the links look like site-A-.com/B/page .. is there anyway to make them all look like site-B.com/page only? I'm using wordpress for the site. I would also like google searches for my site to come up as site-B.com and not site-A.com/B. Is this possible? Hopefully I'm making sense here.. thanks.

Did you add your new domain via the GD addon domain feature ?

Not sure what you mean exactly, but your best not having several domain names on the same website. It may look like duplicate content or something shady going on to google.

If you want a website to have several domains pointing at it, use a 301 redirect. That's the safest way.

If I understand what you are asking, I think it could be done with a 301 redirect. You would need to modify your .htaccess file.

I modified the .htaccess in the root folder aswell as the /b folder and no go, using the 301 redirect. Pretty sure I did everything right..

    301 Redirect site-A.com/B site-B.com

    There's no reason this shouldn't work :/

can you not just set it up as a addon domain? I know cpanel has this function and I used it on 10 sites on hostgator before I upgraded to the reseller package. Its basically a DNS cname record set up so that your second domain on your single hosting account points to a folder on your account and is its own website in pretty much everyway
