List of Sites that Accept Guest Posting

Hey Guys.

Have recently been ramping up my list of traffic resources, & came across this little beauty. It's a great time-saver instead of typing different search strings in to Google.

Here's the link - some kind person has put together

The Ultimate List of Blogs that Accept Guest Posts

It also shows you pagerank, mozrank & alexa rank. Do your own due diligence on the viability of the numbers.

The references seem to be a mix of both free & paid posting opportunities.

Some people bag guest blogging/posting, but it still works well enough as far as I'm concerned.

Hope you get something out of it

Steve

I'll be using this list a lot, especially if I see a blog that matches my site content anyway. Though I'm always sure to write a high quality article for submission when guest blogging.

Guys, this is not a good tactic at all anymore; especially on the directory sites that accept absolutely anything that remotely resembles an article. This will hurt your ranking over time and you're going to regret wasting all those hours posting content that gives you a penalty.

If you don't believe me, then maybe it makes more sense to listen to Matt Cutts, a guy who might know a thing or two about how Google views the subject-

Ultimately, this is why we can’t have nice things in the SEO space: a trend starts out as authentic. Then more and more people pile on until only the barest trace of legitimate behavior remains. We’ve reached the point in the downward spiral where people are hawking “guest post outsourcing” and writing articles about “how to automate guest blogging.”

So stick a fork in it: guest blogging is done; it’s just gotten too spammy. In general I wouldn’t recommend accepting a guest blog post unless you are willing to vouch for someone personally or know them well. Likewise, I wouldn’t recommend relying on guest posting, guest blogging sites, or guest blogging SEO as a linkbuilding strategy.
Since Google has already hammered the top 12 or so "guest post" sites already in the last update, it's only going to get worse if you're not posting on authority sites with very high quality standards. So this thread is extremely outdated and so are most of the links provided in it.

      kk075 makes a good point.

This thread was posted back in 2013, a century ago in IM terms.

That said, however, this will be a to-&-fro "conversation" that is not yet dead & buried.

Simply Google "guest posting 2015" to see the authorities battle it out with opinions.

Like I said, there is no authority bigger than Matt Cutts and he said guest posting is now considered spam. Now it's just a matter of how long it will take Google to penalize all those "post anything you want" sites of the world; it could take 6 weeks or it could take 6 years.

And in the meantime you can definitely see some gains...but why would you even bother? If you look at heavy ComLuv users, for example, many of their sites completely dropped off the radar after the last update. So why would you want to invest time and money in a strategy that Google says they're definitely going to penalize heavy in the very near future?

Either post on quality domains with very strict submission standards, or don't post at all. Those are really your only two options if you're building a legitimate brand.

As being a business owner, you should think of invitee running a blog all the time. Putting up an effective bit of content and still have the item published in somebody else's weblog doesn't just increase ones expert position however will likely cause a lot more targeted traffic on your web page.

          You're dead right Antonio...

As you said....Google has come to dislike guest posting all because people have spammed it to death using garbage content. (Matt Cutts has clearly stated that fact on more than one occasion)

But if you can 'syndicate' your content the correct way, and get it posted onto the 'right' sites, then you can drive huge amounts of targeted traffic back to your site/s

It depends on what your strategy is. If you think you're going to build authority with the search engines by guest posting, that is not viable per Matt Cutts of Google.

However, if you want to drive traffic from the other sites and build authority in the eyes of your audience (As seen on...), then guest blogging is still and will likely be a viable strategy.

What guest posting really says is "This content is worthy of being shared." That means you must have content that is worthy before you go to any site to ask for a guest post.
