Newbie Needs Help

Hey guys first post. I have started a new website with what I think is a good domain. The site is about 3 weeks old and I have a matching Face Book page. I am having trouble ranking the website however the Face Book page is on the third page of Google. Would you guys go over to www.lowfatcakerecipes.com take a look and maybe give some advice about I might need to do to get ranked. Be nice this is my first website...

    Add a small paragraph of intro content before jumping right into the recipes. Example: Low Fat Mini Chocolate Cupcakes - How to Make Low Fat Mini Chocolate Cupcakes

    Add food recipe semantic markup (crucial in your niche), as seen here.

    You're in a very competitive niche (recipes) and on a brand new site. You should be happy your Facebook profile is ranking.

    Keep adding high quality content. Look for syndication opportunities. Wait a bit longer and hopefully you'll see your rankings improve.

    This is not that related to your question but it is great to see a lot of advertisements on your page but you might want to make them appear more organized. Now, make your content more interesting and always see to it that you make regular updates to maintain stability, especially in readership.

    What are you selling other than ads? Your site looks like that is all you are trying to do. You need some high quality content on there. Articles about food, maybe throw in how the stars make low-fat recipe cakes, some great pics. of low-fat cakes, make it a "foodie" site. You are in a highly competitive market and I agree that getting to page 3 is pretty good with no content other than recipes on your site.
