Need help creating a video for YT! Please...

INTERNET MARKETING

I need some free or low cost software that will have a timeline, so I can add a call to action on the timeline. I am currently using Microsoft Live Movie Maker but it does not have a timeline (Version for Windows 7)

Can anyone suggest either a free or low cost solution that has this functionality??

I can't think of a video editing software that has no timeline. The best ones that I have tried using are Adobe Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas. I can't really remember how much I got them but if you want to spend your money on something, buy Adobe Premiere Pro. It would be a great investment.

Free trial of Camtasia, and the callout is your call to action.

Then in youtube you have to add your annotation for the button to work.

It depends on how creative you want your output to be. The YouTube idea is great but it is fairly simple. If video editing is just going to be a one-time thing for you, then you should just go for a free trial on an existing video editing software. But if you want to invest in something that you can use for a long time, I'd say go for Premiere.
