Where to outsource OCR?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hello,
I have plenty much OCR to do. more than 1000 pages. I have already tried to do it myself with Abby Finereader but it makes many mistakes and I would have much to correct by hand.
Is there any cheap/good OCR service in India, Phillipines that can do this job?

I've used this Warrior owned service to scan public domain books. Timo does an excellent job with a quick turnaround time.

BTW, if you look around, you can usually find discount offers for that. It's worth the $499, but if you can save a couple of hundred for surfing for a few minutes, I'd do it.

After digging a bit more on the Nuance site, I found that you can upgrade directly from version 15 to version 17.

Version 15 is selling here for under $50.
Scansoft OmniPage 15 PRO Professional (Scansoft E709AG00150) : Software.cc

Full price for the upgrade on the Nuance site is $200.
