I JUST STARTED DOING BLOG POSTS AND ARTICLES:
THERE ARE ALOT OF OPINIONS ON THIS SUBJECT...
how many articles do i have to submitt to see sales for a low competition product?????? 10, 20 50 etc.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of sales for article submission, no matter where you plan to submit or how many you want to write. Where do you plan to submit these, by the way?

  As stated above there is really no way to tell based without knowing the specifics of your niche, keywords targeting, competition, etc.
  
  You say its a low competition keyword, so just create your blog and post consistently to it, build high pr topically relevant back-links and you should be there in no time.
  
  Or you could just write a few blog posts, then one main article, spin it into a ton of copies and mass submit them all over the place, linking back to your site.

It depends on several factors like - the number of views you article gets, how many readers click your resource box link, how well does the offer convert and so on.

You also need to tell us what you are selling, how much, what other ways you are promoting your "whatever" and anything else. It's impossible to answer you with your current info.
