Is there any PDF software creator?

Hi. I know we have a lot of pdf creators out there in virtual sphere but I am curious is there any software which can improve my ebook's layout? Cause write smth in WordPad and convert it to PDF format is very easy but graphical improvement is rocket science for me. I don't mean e-book covers I just want to improve new chapters and all things. I want my e-book look much better than simple document after converting. Maybe you know any software with templates and so. I hope you know what I mean.

    The best thing to use is MS Word. You can literally make whatever you want with the vision of your book. Then import it as pdf and you are done. I think OpenOffice will do the similar job, but for free.

    You can create your ebook in Libre Office or Open office (both free) and then simply export as PDF
