Offering a Free Ebook. Please advise.

I have a blog. Traffic has been steadily rising and now I have a rough draft ebook.

I was wondering how I can get this distributed? Where do I put it? What systems do I need to put in?

I also need to get the ebook reviewed before I distribute it. It really is quite a short draft, like a proto type.

I don't completely understand your question but I'll try to help a little. Do you have an email opt-in form on your blog?

Not sure exactly what you mean by you need the ebook reviewed. Proofreading? That can be outsourced pretty cheap.

Or do you want people to write reviews about it? If that's what you want, I would write a blog post offering the ebook for free and ask for feedback.

If you clarify some of those points I asked about, I might be able to help you out more.

    1. Get a autoresponder service like Aweber or GetResponse.
    2. Start a new list and setup a opt-in form for that list
    3. Get the code for the opt-in form from Aweber / GetResponse and put it in the sidebar of your site
    4. Advertise the eBook above the opt-in form (FREE eBook to help you XXXX, etc)
    5. Setup the autoresponder to send the link to the eBook in the first email they get when they optin (followup email)

    Optional:
    6. Setup a autoresponder series of followups that Aweber / GetResponse will automatically send to new subscriber. Offer value + sell your / someone else's products
    7. After opt-in offer OTO (one-time offer) product

    That's a start.

    mguy, follow cuie's cue.

That's pretty much all the steps you'll need to do in a nutshell.

I agree with Cuie. Upload your ebook and send out the download link to your mailing list. If you need your ebook to be reviewed, just like what ryan said, you could hire a freelancer to proofread it for you.

Forgot to mention, check out fiverr for proof readers, I saw some offering services on there.

I don't really have a mailing list for this blog. This ebook could be a way for me to start building one though.

          It's not whopping, it's business.

If you want quality, pay the bucks. No way around it.
