INTERNET MARKETING

Can someone tell me if inspirational quotes niche is narrow enough niche or is it too broad? I enjoy reading quotes and I like inspirational quotes in particular.

Take a look around t'internet and see if anyone is selling anything related to Inspirational Quotes. There maybe ebooks, or kindle products, or may be someone has turned some quotes into nice videos to watch, or pictures to buy

It could be that there's a market to be served, but you need to do a little bit of leg work first.

A valuable part of the process of creating a product is the research that you do along the way...you'll be amazed at what you'll learn along the way

Could you narrow it down a bit for something of a series? Inspirational quotes by presidents, by philosophers, by sports coaches etc. Tie it in with self help/motivational type ebooks/techniques for monetisation. Just a quick thought.

That is pretty broad. You could niche down within that and then build out as you grow.

Best Sports Quotes
- Best Football Quotes
- Best Football Coach Quotes
- Best Superbowl Winning Coach Quotes

Classic Movie Quotes
- Classic Horror Movie Quotes
- Classic Vampire Movie Quotes

So you could find a niche for quotes then drill down in that niche. That makes your audience more targeted and easier to market to.

If you really want to make money target "Best Insurance Quotes"

  Inspirational quotes is an interesting topic, but I doubt there's much money to be made from it as it's all freely available online.

Not really in itself, but there certainly could be ways you could turn them into something more substantive.

For example, take a set of quotes around motivation or time management or leadership, etc... and then write up a set of processes against the top 5 quotes you pull in that niche.

What this does is helps someone who is trying to make progress in one of these areas in their lives with practical, easy-to-follow steps that will help improve them as a leader, help reduce their stress, etc...

Two important parts:

1) Focus on helping someone be, do, have or become something they are not (think transformation) and...
2) Add some instruction, tips, processes that people can take action on...instead of just the quotes

It's still too broad you can still narrow it down. But i'm not quite familiar in your niche though, specially the products that you can sell to the traffic that flows to your site.
