I have used PayPal and 2CheckOut.com for 12 years. Both great services.

But if you need an alternative or need International sellers try:

Paypal is always limiting my account, so I started to use 2checkout instead. In the long run, they are cheaper for me and seem more stable.

And you can still accept paypal payments which is important, it is hard to sell anything if you can't accept paypal. That's why I don't use Skrill to accept credit card payments - no way to accept paypal.

2co is an especially good option for those living outside US, UK, Canada. I recently discovered that I can withdraw 2checkout funds to my payoneer card and use right away instead of waiting for a check from 2co and paying high cash in fees.

There are two new alternatives that are really cool and easy to setup:

1) www.Stripe.com: This payment gateway makes it easier than ever before to accept payments online. Allows you to do recurring payments, trial offers, coupons, and unlimited subscription options.

Plus, their fees are some of the lowest in the industry. 2.9% + 30 cents per transaction. That's lower than having your own merchant account.

2) www.GumRoad.com: If you're looking to have your product for sale in record time with zero technical hassle, then this is for you.

They have slightly higher fees but they literally take care of the entire process. You simply upload your product to their servers, select a price, add a description, and hit the publish button.

I recently signed up for Stripe and from what I can see it has to work in conjunction with a shopping cart. You cannot just make a "buy now" button on your sales page and charge them with stripe. You still need a service to automate the checkout process & download delivery, etc.

Am I wrong about this? I actually want to be wrong about this because I would love to begin using my Stripe account just not sure how to set up the "buy now" button on my sales pages.

Could anyone elaborate a bit on what I need to do to start using Stripe to collect payment? If there is a checkout service needed to use in conjunction with them, could anyone recommend a good one that has an easy learning curve? This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You don't need a shopping cart, but working without one will require some development skill. We can create a custom purchasing system for your site using Stripe.js so that you don't need to waste time installing an entire shopping platform and redoing your whole website.

I always recommend Perfect Money and Bitcoin, and like you've said already don't touch Payza.

I'm using Paypal and Bitcoin and I heard Perfect Money is great also so you can try it.

So:
Bitcoin (Or any other cryptocurrencies)
Perfectmoney
And Paypal if you want to use it.

Those are the best in my opinion.

You can also consider Western Union and Google Wallet.

You can accept bitcoin along with paypal as it has many benifits like no chargebacks etc.Try using bitpay.com.

You could also use an app like Venmo or Google Wallet to accept payments. However for Google Wallet, you will need to get an invitation code to be able to use it. If you know someone that is already using it, simply ask them to send you a penny. Also note that it is only available to U.S residents. All the best!

I've had a really bad experience with Skrill. I emailed them about my prepaid mastercard application and they generated a card and charged me nearly £10 for it!

I found ecopayz were pretty good. I usually manage my travel spending with a prepaid card and their card is free and doesn't seem to have any annual fee. Hopeful they'll stay good!

Check out link checkpoint. I believe it's $25 initial fee with no transaction fee or monthly fees after that. Plus they're IM friendly.m
