Your Favorite Traffic Source In 2014?

I have been curious to ask this question for a long time.

To all the active marketers,

I urge you to take some time out and let us your precious opinion what your top traffic sources are and will probably be in 2014.

You can also add a few lines in the thread to tell us why you think so (or anything that you might include).

I will start with mine.

Social Media.

Forums.

Search engine traffic has been too unpredictable and unreliable for me. What do you say?

I think that to get the most traffic, you really need to do all of these strategies.

Sure, free advertising is far slower then paid.

If you really want FAST results, I would go with PPC but I would not recommend you work with the smaller companies. Only work with Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

I agree doing all of it will obviously get the best traffic but sharing on social media is done on autopilot so couldn't be easier.

I am planning on getting onto Google Plus in a big way this year. The competition is far lower than Facebook and it is quickly catching up with audience numbers.

I'm second place in an affiliate contest right now because of solo ads, but I just got turned onto free traffic by a friend.

It's nice having higher profits, I think I'll continue to do both, free and paid..

I've actually haven't done free traffic in years until just recently.

      Wrong.

As the web grows, SEO will become more competitive. But I guess we really couldn't expect anything different from you, considering your sig link.

Paid traffic all the way for me.

It's FAST, scalable, delivers fast measurable numbers and allows you
to instantly decide on how much you can afford to pay for traffic to place
    towards your business.

    All the best guys,

Social media is definitely the top one and there are different ways of maximizing exposure now. You should also use paid marketing such as media buys and solo ads as these are very fast and effective.

Hands down social media video traffic. Next I would have to say craiglist traffic that goes to my video. Next solo ads that go to my video. Videos make it easy for people and increase conversion.

At the end of the day the best traffic is the traffic that converts best for your offer.

Thanks for the focus on the "one traffic source" theory. But as a person new to IM I'm confused as where to start. For 14 years I've built apps but never marketed them other than word-of-mouth. It's a little overwhelming at times.

I would say Youtube and Social Marketing (Facebook, Google+ etc).
Article marketing is very difficult nowadays not to mention PPC.
Mostly the big guys make money from PPC.
Solo Ads is the way to go in 2014 but it is very expensive, but if
you have the money the returns is great.
Google is still the biggest source of traffic apart from Youtube
but it is difficult to get ranking with the new Google Updates

For me at the moment its social media, facebook to be specific - has done wonders for one of my sites. I am finding it harder to break into big numbers with the other social outlets but am trying to get the whole twitter thing going. I would like to match the likes to followers to see if they bring in the same traffic as FB.

I like the idea of adswapping

Well, this mainly depends on what you're marketing. As a product marketer I'd say the top 3 are: SEO, social media and e-mail campaigns.
